Fuel pump relays #1 and #2 - ZR-1 Net Registry Forums

Hi,

Can anyone give me the part number/numbers of the 1990 fuel pump #1 and #2 relays. I work for an OEM GM dealer and the parts guy said that the computer lists only one relay for ZR1 in 1990. So much for the OEM system. I have 2 of the listed relays ordered just in case.

I have just run into a shop stopper, so to speak, with the R and R of the pumps. Someone actually sealed the fuel sender flange to the tank with Blue RTV. I have all the bolts out and it is stuck fast to the tank. Does anyone have any idea what could be used to soften the RTV so I dont have to go to the expense to remove the tank ?

What should be a 10 minute job now looks like a 3 to 4 hour job. Sloppy work by a backyard no nothing jerk.
