Its been about 2 weeks since i`ve driven my 90-Z and i`m about to get in it and drive to Memphis which is about 120 miles away. Heres my problem; when i turn the a/c on, it works great for about 2 minutes. when i make changes it just hangs up. For example i can push the recirculate button (or any other) and the light comes on and then its just frozen there. Can`t make any changes at all. I tried taking the battery cable off for a while and this is a temporary fix.
Guess i`ll just go ahead and take a 5/16 wrench with me, pull over and disconnect for a minute when i need to make a change. Might even have to ride with the windows down. Hell, i might even take the top off but i`m going in the Z. Anybody ever had a problem like this? I`ve got a 1990 Corvette service manual ST-364-90PSID. Just thought i`d ask before i start digging. I`ll check back tonight when/if i get back and i`ll know more. Thanks in advance for any replies.........Richard.....
