Weekend with the FBI
The last several days I was in Chicago for the Corvette Challenge. I ran into Pete and he was able to tune my Black Widow (Mercury Marine race cams, no secondary throttles, 350) better than it ever had been. I had a few drivability issues he was able to address. It ran very rich at idle, fouled spark plugs and would not drive properly in 6th gear under roughly 2200 rpms.
It is no longer fouling plugs or running super rich and on one drive over the weekend, I got down to 46 mph in 6th and it pulled up from there like a stocker. I am amazed!! These drivability issues can be solved in the tune and Pete can do it! I had a great time at the pizza party bench racing with a great group of guys, thanks to Jeff for getting the group together and inviting me and Bob for the good pizza. Pete, thanks again for fixing what I have been putting up with for 13 years! Oh and BTW, should any wonder why I may not quickly respond to any comments or questions, it's because I'm out driving my ZR-1!!!!! Thanks for a super time, George Crouse
