I have now got my new Carolina clutch fitted and the difference is spectacular! However - as everyone might guess, the clutch cylinders now need replacing. I have ordered Wagner manufactured ones from Rockauto. Has anyone had experience of these? Are these the ones where the seals were put in backwards, or where people have used the new internals to rebuild their original cylinders? Any comments gratefully received.
Best wishes from Sunny Spain, Richard |

Richard,
The slave cylinders are the ones that have the seals installed backwards. My master leaked and I purchased both. Replacing the master was quite a chore since it seems every wire and cable on the car route right through where you need to work. I have never taken the slave apart and flipped the seal. So it's still sitting at home on a shelf. Hope this helps, Jim |

Thank you for that, Jim. Were they Wagner?
Cheers, Dick |

I work at a GM dealer and got them from here. They where in GM parts boxes but I don't know the original source.

I had ordered the same part from RockAuto it's a cast made piece and the piston inside is steel our stock unit is stamp steel with an aluminum piston i thought the cast Wagner part would retain too much heat so i took the new seal out of the Wagner and just rebuild my stock unit. Pete
