Default ** TQ specs Please? **

I'm working to get the car back together for BG. I started to do some maintenance/fixes before surgery a couple months ago and now it's time to get this bad boy fired up again.

I cannot find my FSM (go figure) and need some TQ specs for my '94 pretty please.

1. Air Horn to TB
2. PS Pump Bracket (to head and that %$#'ing top bolt that caused me to remove the AH!)
3. Belt Tensioner

I will also be re-installing the radiator/oil cooler and I *think* I've got the method understood for coolant refill procedure - and I did print out M.H.'s article on it. But any tips are most certainly appreciated.

Thanks y'all

Try this http://www.teamzr1.com/ubbthreads/ub...at&Number=1042

Have lots of fun at BG

I concur on the web site above being a bit different but many of those torque values are correct (I am working on that in Solutions).

Looking at the manual shown below.....

I find throttle body extension to throttle body screw is 53 in-lbs.
I find Belt tensioner to coolant pump is 45 ft-lbs.

Again....I am still working on the correct values

With all the links I've saved, didn't even know that site existed. Man I've been away a while!

THANK YOU 23x

I think I would use what's in the Service Manual for torque specs. The ones on that pages don't match what's in the service manual. 22 lb. ft. for cylinder head bolts the first pass....no torque specs for the next 2 passes....what engine is this???

Yea, looks like I still need these specs. Link looks to be for a different motor.

Anyone have the TQ specs by chance? Cant find my FSM.

to burp mine I keep the cap off the tank, fill it up and let the car drink it up, if you see collant comming back into the black tank then it is flowing but I still keep filling it until it steadys out then you can jack up the passenger side of the car and let it run, I think thats how you burp it if it needs it.

but I haven't had any issues doing it this way.

Use a combo of the LT5 Manual (as you show) and the 4" thick Service Manual...the latter is a pain since it intertwines L98/standard C4 and the LT5/ZR-1 info. Have to be careful what you are looking at
