There was an 85 for sale a while back ago that was the predecessor to the Callaway TT. GM was developing the TT and junked the design after they started working with Lotus, then sent all the stuff to Reeves to work with.

Car was missing a lot of stuff, but had the build sheet designating what it was. i think I got some pics some place.

Wow! An '85 ZR-1? I figured the '86 narrow-bodied ZR-1 that got restored would be the earliest ever found.

Post up all the pics and info on this when you know more, sounds really interesting!

Wasn't the narrow body the way to go for top speed?

What I have was not what I thought it was. What was given to me was the briefing paper circulated at Todowanda that solicited support to have the LT-5 built there. According to the source just about everyone wanted to do it but one individual near the top of the food chain felt it would be too much trouble and they passed. He did not stay there much longer.
