All I can say............ is Good For You Rick!

I hate to beat a dead horse. I'm thinking that even with D3's the traction would be an issue even accounting for the fact that they do seem to get stickier as they heat up.

As to the "work in progress" comment. Perhaps some one should tell all the LSx owners that if it were not for the LT5, there would be a good chance that they would be still using first generation mouse motor technology. Oh, and I would also remind them that our ignition system's configuration is more visually pleasing than using plastic covers to hide the working parts. Not to mention that some body had to be "first" to not use a distributor.

Why! Have you tried them? I've had KDWS's and Good year F1's. But I'm not afraid to try something new. I paid $329 factory direct on fleabay for both rears 315/35/17 50$ shipping and $50 to have mounted and balanced. I notice the grip difference immediately even in the rain. Mine have taken quit a beating at the strip and the tread is pretty much history hence the grip issues. But when they were brand new I couldn't break them loose no matter how hard I accelerated. And yes I'm gonna buy another set. This time I'm gonna by all four. At the time I didn't want to commit to buying all four if they turned out not to be any good. So unless you've tried them don't knock em.

I've had a couple customers that have tried them, & yes I drove their cars too, they didn't like them at all...even new they had a hard time getting off the line. I dunno, maybe they are just making more jam than you & that tipped the scale just enough between bite & spin . Also not sure why you would think I'd post something with having any hands on experiance....

Thats why I asked "Have you tried them" because I don't know. Ryan I respect your thoughts on this stuff so I try not to assume anything about anybody. I'd rather have a good set of tires than a cheap set of tires. The Vreds are or were the #1 performance tires in Europe. $1200 to $1600 for a set of tires doesn't mean they are better. Because the KDWS's and F1's were over $1200 a set "Sorry" but the Vreds stuck better. I know some may hate to hear that but they did. I did research on them before buying them and they got great reviews. It's your choice what you put on your car. What do I care. No matter what kind of street tire you buy, when the tread is almost gone they arent gonna be worth a sh*t.

take a look at the Nitto 05's. I am thinking about going with them. For me it is btwn them or GY D3's. You can find the Nittos at Discount tire. I am finally turning the corner financially personally and my ZR-1 is finally going to shed the 12 year old GSC's. Two weeks and I should be back in TX. I am getting tired of California.
