Hey Ryan!
I'm surprised you'd even consider dragging the '90.
It's in such nice shape why put the stress/strain on it?
Isn't that what the '76 is for?
I can't imagine you would baby it down the track.....

Ya'...me too John. Air wasn't too bad either, Corrected Altitude was 3350 FT., pretty decent for here. Had some guys racing at the Div. 6 points race in Acton, MT. this weekend, air was like 7100 FT.!! Brutal .

Um...not much -. Honestly Ted, I ported the Heads, Injector Housings, Plenum & factory Exhaust Manifolds/Headers, Accel Injectors (not a perf. Item per-say), put Valve Seals on the exhaust guides, changed the factory cam timing around, did a good multi-angle valve job & lapped them in...that's more or less it. Still have the stock Cats & Exhaust, didn't want to change that...want to keep it looking more or less O.E.M. Works O.K. for a lowly 90 .

I planned on taking my 90 to the track 'Once'! So...now we'll have to see. My Stingray will be out shortly...Days/hours, so my focus has all about shifted to that.

Brutal is an understatement. Density Altitude means everything.

We used to run at Fallon, NV with corrected air approaching 9,000 feet in August and September. When I was running my Camaro there, times were 11.90 at that time of year. Normally would run in the 11.65-11.70 range. We went over the hill to Sac in April 1999 and with nothing more than increasing jets F&R 6 sizes the car ran 11.01. Corrected air there was no worse than 400 ft all day. As a matter of fact, when I ran air at 7:00 AM the Density Altitude showed 768 ft BELOW Sea Level. I was jacked. With a torque converter change in mid 1999 it was running 11.4's in Fallon, 11.2 in Boise. So I figured Sac would have been somewhere around 10.70, but never ran it at Sac again as we moved to Idaho in April 2000.

When will you make the decision to come to Boise?

I am 'Loosely' planning on coming at this point, John. Barring any unforseen mis-advetures this time (wheel-stand's), I'll be coming, but never 100% sure until the wheels are rolling & pointed in your direction. I'll be in touch on it.

That's cool John, never knew you've raced at Fallon.

Yep, Raced there from the time they opened until I moved in 2000. Even raced at the Fallon Naval Air Station as they were gathering money and support to build the permamnent facility. Best I ever did was 4th in points in Super Pro in 1998. I was actually 1st in points with 3 races left. I put a Barry Grant RT 750 (awesome instrument) carb on the Camaro and really never got it jetted right that year. Kept breaking out when the sun set. Lost a place every race so ended up 4th. That ol' Camaro put the hurt to a lot of rails and roadsters when I was racing.
