Spoke too soon, I recon. Bummer.
Thru my new un-restricted exhaust I hear a "tick" sound from the tailpipes, keeping time with the engine rotations. Pulling the plug wire on #8 results in little change in idle, but a significant drop in "tick" (or "ch-ch-ch", if you will). Whereas there was no change in the sound when I pulled each of the other plug wires, one at a time. This ain't good news, just now.
Some good news tho. There seems to be a marked reduction in the "buzz" sensation on the gear shift after installing new U joints and re-aligning the position of the trans tail. (Bill B's C-beam plates make fussing with the C-beam a piece of cake.) [Sigh]. My fuel pressure issue remains as well. So, I guess I'll go out to the garage and swap pumps and socks. NUTS! P.

Sorry to hear that Paul. I fully expect to have some gremmlins after I putting mine back together after I get the P/P stuff back from powder coating. I'll be suprised if it fires up with out a hitch.
