Oil Leak
Well right after I replaced my oil cooler lines I noticed another leak (puddle) -another WTF moment.
After swearing and cussing (for a moment I thought my engine block was cracked or something) - I then calmed down and started looking closer. As it turns out I came across a sensor located below and to the left of the oil filter. This damn thing was shooting out a nice stream of oil at a pretty good rate. I'll assume this is a oil pressure sensor of some kind. Does anyone know the part number and where I can get this thing? Thanks EDIT: Let me clarify. Its the sensor on the left side of the oil filter when you are standing on the passenger side looking over the engine Last edited by salvatore1; 06-03-2009 at 01:54 PM. |

Well that was fun. I finally got the oil light sensor out. After removing the oil cooler lines, oil filter, and pushing over the radiator hose - I was able to get at that thing with a sensor socket attached to a stubby ratchet. |
