1990 High Miler Track Results
Went to Byron today: 70 degrees slightly overcast took the 90
1990 136K miles Mods: Corsa Exahust/DRM Chip I did about five runs before I called it a day. -first run was not sure about the launch......went 1800...bogged and ended with a 13.6@109 -Kept moving the launch up until I was at 3K......ended with a 12.88 @112.68 w.2.097 60ft. By the time I was done it was fun to watch all of the cars with drag tires pull out about 1.5 cars length leads only to catch then at the 1/8th and bury them at the 1/4. I did note that the 3.45 gears are much easier to launch and drive with and you can see the difference in ET and MPH if you can launch and get into the power band. I wonder how my 92 would do with 3.45s..and not the 4.09. Needless to say I am pleased with my $10.5K car........

I thought the motor was rebuilt along the way of 136K miles?

Re: 1990 High Miler Track Results
I am not sure if there was a rebuild or not....Chevy dealer invoice says engine rebuild.....no items listed or charges listed. Mileage was 69K.

Re: 1990 High Miler Track Results
I think it could run 12.7-12.6 with a better and lighter driver although I am down to 265lbs.
