Default Seat Switch...

Is it possible to switch the driver and passenger seats. I have some wear marks starting on the drivers seat from the previous owner. I would like to even out the wear a bit. If so, is it easier to switch the cusions or unbold the entire seat?

yes , alot of us have done it .its not hard at all will take you about an hr. 4 bolts and 3 connecters on each seat and poof you have a nice drivers seat. too bad the aftermarket only sells the seat covers in pairs .

Cool, at a glance, it looked pretty straight forward. I just wanted to make sure GM didn't want to make thing interesting by making different electrical connectors between driver and passenger seats You know these engineers!
Thanks

Can't you just take the seat cushions out and swap them, should take 15 minutes max?

Exactly right. With all the air mechanisms, I figured I would do less damage and just swap the enire seat....in theory

For 94 and 95 it's pretty easy.
I figure similar for 90-93.

For my 94, I pulled both seats, removed and changed seat backs at the hinge and swapped bottom pieces. Bottom piece foam is slightly different contour so had to slice off a piece and transfer to the opposite side with double stick tape.

Good to know. I may do the swap b4 the driving season arrives. I know the current right seat has had less use than the left.
