E-Brake
Well they went to ship the car and it didn't pass the E-brake test, it will hold the car when you pop the clutch, but they put it on an incline and stated the car rolls slightly....so DAS will not accept it. Whats the typical problem we see with E-brake, and approx cost to fix.

It's self adjusting, but the e-brake on any Corvette is iffy anyways. |

Re: E-Brake
Lift the rear end to see if both sides are holding. If so, there's really nothing mechanical you can do. But, try stopping the car several times from 20 mph or so with the parking brake only to see if cleaning rotor glaze makes a difference. Else try fresh OEM pads
in place of your unknown pads. Why is this even an issue with DAS (whoever they are)? Don't they strap the vehicle in place?

Re: E-Brake

Re: E-Brake
Anyplace near there where car can be stored waiting for first thaw? I should lookup the guys I used to ship. I'll be back tomorrow. Maybe Haibeck has a suggestion.

Re: E-Brake
Ok, here is an update on the situation, DAS was nice enough to charge me $628 for not delivering my car....I called in a dispute with the credit card company, and have talked to DAS reps and am supposed to get a call back on Monday.
The dealership set me up with another shipper, and they are going to look at the car on Monday....might be here by next weekend. The dealership indicates they tested the brake it works great, the prior owner says the same and he is a former registry member and a nice guy. I hope to have the car here soon! Re: E-Brake
Dealer says the ebrake works, former owner says ebrake works
Sounds to me the company you hired are scammers. They like FREE money no work. Post the full name of the company. Pete
