Re: Thinking of stereo upgrade
Been awhile since I posted on here. Not too much news when car has been parked in garage for what has been a miserable winter. Anyway I was so happy with the new sound system I put a similar system in my truck. I had a little more room so truck has about 600 watts instead of 400 in the car. The one thing different is the head units. In the car it is Alpine IDA-X200, the truck got the IDA-X100. I now wish I went with IDA-X100 for both vehicles. I will be switching the decks in the vehicles as I can change the color on the screen on the IDA-X100 to red which will suite the interior better then the blue screen on the IDA-X200.
The switch is purely a cosmetic change as both decks are working great. I did get a little creative with the interior. The purist ZR-1 owners might not like it, but I really like the results. |
