Default 2 vs 4 valves video

Bob G and I were discussing the differences between the 4/cylinder vs. 2 valves/c relative to torque curves/hp differences. The jist of it of the conversation was that the flatter torque curve will often overcome more (peak) hp advantages in other engines, and how (specifically) the combination of flater and higher RPMs really makes our ZR-1s shine in the face of greater peak hp.

This video doesn't exactly show a true comparision, but it caught my eye b/c it is so obvious shows the ZR-1s characteristics when running against a reasonably equal (peak) power/weight 2-valve car. Every time the C5 shifts, the Z "runs" out even farther. Interesting. See what you think.

Umyeah, I know. I was using it as an illustration for what Bob G (and others) have said and experienced re the characteristics of the LT5.

Hello from Switzerland,

I really love fast cars, especially fast Corvettes and fast Chevrolet's.
I also love to watch videos with fast driving ZR-1's. But, this kind of
action should never happen on public roads , on race tracks only .
This is what I am thinking about it.

Have a good day,
