First time I've ever seen another ZR-1 on the road(except at events), near dayton, Ohio heading south on I-75

I had the same experience today myself while I was out enjoying the weather and my LT5. I saw a red 1990 driving south on Broadway just outside of downtown Denver.
I didn't catch up so here's my virtual wave. ![]() Jason |

Funny you guys should mention about never seeing another ZR-1 out unless it's at a show or an event. I can count on one hand the number of times that I've seen another ZR-1 out enjoying the fresh air. I've put some miles on mine in four yrs & I always keep an eye out for a BOTB. Sightings have been few & far between.
![]() I had the pleasure of running next to 09 ZR1, blue w/chrome wheels, two weekends ago....but we were traveling to an event. I waved, but I think the driver was too busy....car looks good underway though...it must be a hard thing to do to keep that motor within the break in rules....the driver looked distracted.....or maybe he was annoyed at me gawking his car.

I hear ya Chris...I think with the 10k optional pkg, which yields a sweet looking interior leather treatment, the car looks nice on the inside. The exterior is I guess a case of you either like the C6/C6ZO6 basic shape or ya don't. The only thing that I positively do not like is the see thru window on the hood......guess I'm too outta touch to appreciate it. The rest of the exterior with all the aero devices I like....but then I'm from the late 60's to mid 70's muscle car era....however it's all academic, as I couldn't afford to pay attention at the base car's price....

i think the C7 is supposed to come out in 2010 so i am eager to see what that looks like. a little bit of a retro C3 style would be pretty sweet i think. maybe even C2 retro style. Chris |
