There is no exclusion for taking it to work, but I am sure they would discourage regular work usage as part of the process, best thing to do would be to call and answer the questions as honestly as you can and let them see if you fit the profile.

Quotes and app process are free

Here's what you need: Call Condon and Skelly, they will ask a few questions to see if you fit the profile/underwriting guidelines. You then need to do the following:

1)fill out app they will send you

2)Include copy of your dec page for your daily drivers from your ins carrier

3)Take pics of all 4 sides, and motor include with app

4)Send check for quoted premium. Or wait and see if they accept app, then send. They will review and if they accept the app they will notify you when coverage starts.

Lee,

Just spoke with Tony. He says this program is for "show cars" with the average mileage being < 2000miles/yr. He said the program is not for
pleasure driving. He apologized for any misunderstanding. Oh well.

If you drive your car mostly to club events, shows, etc with the occasional social use they are open to quoting you.

Requirements are:

-Value over 20K
-Own 1 daily driver for each member of household
-carry seperate ins for other vehicles
-use the vehicle mainly for club events

If you are driving your car 5K miles per year this is not a policy for you, but I drive about 1-2K per year.

**As noted they are looking for the customer who drives 1-2K per year, not for daily drivers or if you are in a higher range.

Here is info from the website

What Types of Vehicles Do We Insure?
Antique & Classic Vehicles including Trucks and Motorcycles
Collectible Special Interest and Modern Classics
Vintage Fire Trucks, Farm Tractors, Military Vehicles
Street Rods, Customs, Modifieds
Kit Cars & Replicas
Vehicles under active restoration may also qualify.

What Don't We Insure?
We do not insure vehicles that are used for daily transportation, as a substitute or backup vehicle, off-road use, utility type use, hauling, business or commercial purposes.

Why is the cost of coverage so low?
The answer is simple --- collectible vehicle owners love their cars. They are experienced drivers with excellent driving records. Typically they only drive their vehicles in good weather and for a limited number of miles a year. In the northern regions of the country, most collectible vehicle owners store there cars during the winter months. Collectible vehicle owners are passionate about their vehicles, the claims rate is low and thus our rates are very competitive.

I don't know - seems too cheap to me.

What are your liability limits? Is it 300k or above?

I'm paying double that but my car is insured for $50,000.

I'd be asking around if I were you, perhaps they are a good company but I have never heard of them. I'd feel more comfortable with a LeLand West or Haggerty etc.

You never find out how good your insurance is until you get into an accident!
