Unhappy Gonna need a heater core...

Are there any heater cores that cross-reference to a 90 ZR-1? I'm assuming by the fogged windshield (at times) and the carpet soaked on the passenger's side that my heater core is shot. It could be a hose or fitting, I suppose, but that wouldn't be consistent with my usual luck!

Any suggestions where to round up a core??? Mucho appreciation.

Considering we rarely use our cars in the winter or if you just like having a car where "everything works" I think I would consider just bypassing the heater core and forgeting about the hassle of replacing it.

Paul nasty job. I see them on Ebay all the time. No difference in the Heater core than in any other C4. Man I dont envy you that job. Rockauto as stated is also a good option. Id Bypass it until the weather is the most favorable for you to work on it. (early Fall?)

If I could offer some advise. Take off the roof panel and remove the passenger seat. Your back will owe me a beer. And it helps while working upsidedown. D

When I bought my car someone bypassed the heater core. I never found out why nothing wrong with heater core. Down side of bypassing is climate control will not work as it blends hot a cold airflow. Adjusting the controls was not effective and could never get temp close to right.

It is the same as the L98 car. 52479882, it's still available from GM.
