Default Fuel System

Does anyone know a source for a 94 ZR1 fuel sending unit which also includes the pump?

Hard to find, so thanks for any help tracking one down.

You won't need the entire unit. Read this...

Is your problem with fuel level indication or fuel pump issues?

GM Part #25163473 '96 Suburban with 454 Engine
It's the same part as the ZR1 without the Corvette Tax.

Sorry for not putting enough information in my post.

The problem is the car was not driven enough over a long time period and the fuel went bad. The fuel sending unit will not work because of the varnish that built up and the fuel pump won't work because the sending unit cannot give it the proper signal.

One of those situations where it is better for a car to be driven more often.

Thanks

Just a thought on the varnish.....did you try to spray some throttle body cleaner on the sending unit part of the assembly....it's cheap & enough T/B cleaner may eventuall clean it up, if it's just varnish and not rust. I mean one spray down may not do it and you may have to get out a fiber/poly parts cleaning brush....but I've used stp T/B cleaner on some nasty varnish and it worked well with a bit of careful effort....just a thought.

Otherwise on e-bay go see 'thepartsladdie'.....the parts laddie...they are very reputable to deal with on GM stuff....even our ZR-1 specific parts. Oh, all the ZR-1 pump/sending unit assemblies are the same I think.
