Forum For Sale Section, Request Members Please Read

Hi everyone, I'm Zack Brinkmeier, one of the new board members. I spent a lot of time this weekend trying to clean up the for sale section (it was a mess) and would ask for your help in continuing to clean it up along with doing a better job moving forward. My intent here is to better help people procure the items they need for their cars and sell the items they need which may help others. Proper titles are really important if you want to sell your item or find the item you need.

I separated ZR-1 parts from actual cars for sale into two separate sub-forums.

I also added a Sticky specifically for items which Registry members make, manufacture, 3D print, etc.

My top tips/requests:

1) Post proper title formats:
FS: 1990 ZR-1 Rear Bumper Fascia $700
WTB: Set of OEM A-Mold Wheels

2) Once you sell or buy/find the item, edit the title of the post:
*SOLD* FS: 1990 ZR-1 Rear Bumper Fascia $700
*BOUGHT* WTB: Set of OEM A-Mold Wheels

3) If you are looking to buy an item and discover an old "for sale" post for that item, but that item has already been sold, please don't post your need into that same thread. Instead, start a new thread/post.

4) Please don't hijack a for sale thread. I saw numerous items for sale that would trail off into members BS'ing with each other about random topics.

5) If you see an item for sale and you know someone who has one, please at least include the members handle in your reply. I saw a lot of posts that would say something like, "Phil has one". Not everyone may know Phil. In the future, as we upgrade the forum's software, we will be able to "@" members which will notify them of being called out.

6) If you know you have posted items in the past, please help us out by going into your profile and pulling up those posts and marking them as SOLD or BOUGHT. You can also let us know and we can close out the thread. If you still need the time or it's still for sale, feel free to bump it.
