Most because they are sooooo desirable.. red-on-red is just a eye popping color combo..of course this is coming from a newbie and IMHO
and I have NEVER owned a red-on-red car before but this is a eye catcher>>

To answer your question seriously, ( geeze guys!!!):
Nobody knows.
We know the paint codes and numbers produced: (http://www.zr1netregistry.com/ZR1_Production_color.htm), but not the interior/exterior combo numbers

Those numbers are simply not available from GM for the model years 1990, '91, '92 & '93.

You either love the red/red color combo or hate it. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground on this topic.

Mine is red, but has black interior. Now the number is down to only 1557 of them.

this does prove your new to this Michael. i used to be 100% like you. i mean what's not to like? right. but now i take the high road. some people definatly have a problem with red. don't know why. well i do but i can't justify it is more like it. i like seeing Zee's other than red just for the fact i see my own whenever i like. for some reason i like Zee's in almost every color. i can't say that about other vehicles. Michael your all full of piss & vinegar & i think it's great .
