1991 emissions air injection pump - ZR-1 Net Registry Forums

Hi all

I?m trying to reinstall my air injection pump to satisfy the California smog police and i?m not sure how it goes on. This was removed by a prior owner so I?m not sure how it came off.

I know it goes in the front left corner of the engine compartment and i have found the electrical connectors. I have the pump and some of the plumbing that came off. Can someone post a photo or diagram of their air pump and how the hoses route to the manifolds?

I have found an instruction for this. Hopefully it will be useful for you. I'm no expert in this to be honest, but who knows if it becomes helpful

Thank you for everyone's help so far. I successfully got the air injection pump and original exhaust manifolds w/ cats installed on the car.

I realize now that I'm missing the hoses that route from the AIR to the exhaust manifolds as well as the vacuum lines that attach to the AIR valve?

Does anyone have a picture of their car and how these hoses route?

I believe I have those hoses.

Does anyone know if there are both metal pipes and rubber hoses that connect the AIR on the exhaust manifolds to the AIR valve? I have seen pics of the rubber hoses but they don't look long enough to reach the passenger side manifold.

I hate California regulators... I passed the smog emissions test by failed the visual inspection as my AIR hoses are not there.
