welcome to the club!

I sold a '99 996 C2 a while back, now i'm in a '94 Z.

Loved the 996, just kept worrying about the inevitable motor rebuild (~$20K+)

Would have been a screamer with a 3.8 Jake Raby motor but ultimately sold it because my heart is with American Muscle. No regrets.

Yes 1990 928 S4. it is my Brother-in-law's car. i had the pleaseure of picking it up from him in Wisconsin and driving it back to my parent's house. he then took it the rest of the way home. Car was not bad and being in it for 3 hours I was able to compare it to the Z..

2 totally different cars

How so? I would imagine the 928 as being more of a refined grand tourer, more " civilized " and the ZR-1 as being the Beast it is, not as civilized but faster? I think both are beautiful designs.

yes, more refined, a bit more room. Both are fine cars, however, I was expecting the interior to be far superior to the Vette, just because we have Chevette quality interiors in on our Corvettes. but honestly while it was better I don't think it was a huge difference in quality.

Car was fun to drive. I got more people staring at me. One guy commented his dad had one years ago . another in a Toyota (or such) sedan came racing up to me while driving it.. he did not want to race, he had his phone out and was taking pictures..
