C6 Z06 brakes with Shelby wheels

Has anyone tried or does anyone know if you can use C6 Z06 brakes with Shelby wheels? Flipping the barrel etc?

Way more than that.. one guy did it.. shaynezr1 over on CF

The Z06 calipers on my car had to be modify in order to fit. Notice the smoother and rounder shape at the skirt of calipers. The calipers from the factory are kind of square and edgy. My friend machined it down to about 1/2 inch. The inner lips of the star on the Shelby had to machined down about 5mm. I moved the inner parts of the wheels to the outside. Last longer studs was installed along with half inch spacer. It was a experiments but worked out in the end. The new brakes works great. It was alot of work though,but paid off.
