Re: New ZR1 on the block
This is exactly the reason I don't like B-J - won't watch their programs either - they have effectively taken the Owner/Driver out of the market.
Where everyone thinks his clapped out '70 Nova is worth a hundred grand, not too mention that almost all Hemi cars are now made of "unobtainium". I can understand the one-off show cars, some of Foose's creations and this particular '08 ZR1 but leave our C2/3/4/5's alone - they should be driven. A lot of real nice Driving Cars are now squirreled away somewhere waiting to hit the B-J million dollar jack pot. I really want a '90-95 ZR-1 - and I'm not going to be lowering it into my living room - it will be driven just like it's supposed to be. OK - Rant over Scott |

Re: New ZR1 on the block
I don't watch BJ all that much either, but I was yesterday for a few hours up until the ZR1. It seems as if some pricing is coming back into a more "reasonable" range, they even mentioned it on a few of the cars. I still think if you're in the market for an unusual or "collector" car you'll do much better outside of BJ. There were some Hemi Cudas that sold for almost believable pricing. The Superbirds are still overpriced IMHO, my brother bought one about five years ago that was a project car that was about 80% completed, and he got it for mid 20's.
