Default Melrose Top

My glass targa started to creak leading me to suspect delamination.
I am considering Melrose top with scratch resistant coating.
Any feedback from those who have Melrose top?

I sent my ZR-1 Blue Tint Roof to them for a lens replace and it was quick, easy using their mailing service and they did a great job!

Was pleased with their "relens" service at Melrose.

I have used Melrose as well. Purchased my top after Carlisle in 2018. Very satisfied with the service and product.

I'll chime in too, Yun. I got a transparent top for my '95 from Melrose in 2014. Drove out to pick it up. Great service, and top. My car had a transparent top listed as an option in addition to my painted one, but the one that came with the car was a cheap reproduction that was badly delaminating. They use factory spec glass and frame and did a good job. The only thing you lose is your VIN on the frame if you have your original top, as they can't add a VIN to a blank frame. If you have a VIN and want to keep it you can send your top to them and they will replace the glass. Overall I was pleased with the service. The owner also had (has?) one of Jim Morrison's race ZR-1s (#37? Marc would know) in his showroom. --Bob

Thanks for a great info. Unfortunately, my 96 #256 did not have glass top option. With 167,000 miles, originality and collectibility concern quit being my concern a long time ago.
