Need to change the light assembly in the center console. Trying to figure out minimal amount of parts to remove to unplug rear wire connection? I know this is a basic question but not seeing any photos here or on Youtube for 90-96 R&R.
Thanks in advance. Joel |

Joel,
I had mine apart a few months ago. Pretty sure I just "fished" out the connector through the back and unhooked it. Don't remember it being a big deal. Mine is a '90. ![]()

TX90 you are correct, looked like it would not fit but it did. New (to me) assembly installed with working mercury switch. Life is good again. Okay, I'm embarrassed, just did not want to break any OLD plastic.

It is always better to ask and be sure if in doubt.
I have learned there are no dumb questions, just ones I don't know the answer to! Have a great one! ![]()

Glad you "gotter done"!
FWIW, on mine, the arm rest pad started coming loose from the console frame. I was able to replace the whole kit and kabootle with a new one from Mid America Motorworks. |
