Default Can Someone Identify These Unknown Parts?

After the Engine Harness fire in 2015, it's taken three years to get the light at the end of the tunnel to change from those of an oncoming train to about a couple of days left to first start. I will post pictures of the damage, cause and some of the rebuild at a later date. For now, I have had my son in law help me quite a bit over the years and I found these parts on a shelf beside the Z. I don't recognize them as anything I took off. I'm not saying after so long I may have forgotten. Does anyone recognize these? I have looked through the FSM at pretty much everything we removed and replaced. Fuel sending unit and Plenum is all that is left. I also looked at the ZR-1 Parts PDF that used to circle the ZR-1 forums. I really don't know if they belong to the car. Believe it or not, the first picture is a view with the spring on its side the second is with it standing up. Any help will be appreciated. The car is a 1992.

Is that spring metal looks to be for the center console button.

If those are 13mm nuts could be from anywhere.

Pete

The two nuts may be for the top two studs on the front cover. The studs protrude into the block valley.

or

They may be for heat shields held by certain oil pan bolts with a stud on top of the bolt head.

Thanks to both of you.

Pete: Nothing from the console was touched. The only things inside the car were the knee bolsters on both sides, the wiring from the passenger side, through the firewall. The brake pedal to remove the brake booster, so we could pull the left cam cover and all of the hood release handle cable and assorted parts. The fire melted through the cable running to the right side hood release.

Jerry: The front cover was not touched. I have thought of the wiring shields on the pan as I haven't gotten one of them back on yet, but of those I looked at, they aren't the same shape. The investigation continues???

Mystery Solved!
The spring is in fact from the console door! In 2008 I replaced the top of the door. I used all the underside from the original to keep the RPO paper attached to it. The old spring has been buried on the shelf since about 4/20/2008! I've slept since then so I didn't recognize it. I saw it while browsing Ecklers for other stuff!!
The two nuts are in fact from the oil pan for a heat shield up toward the front. I found the shield and remembered where it went. Two bolts had to be swapped on the pan to mount the shield. This was done.
I finished the rebuild after the harness fire and fired the car up, it had to crank a bit but started up fine. It runs beautifully with two problems:
One- the fuel pressure drops very quickly after shut off. (Leaking injector? They have been out of the car for 3 years.) I'm going to try some Red Line fuel ad injector cleaner wh I can open the garage and start the car.
Two- I have a Service ABS and Service ASR lights on. The manual says that that happens when changing the Throttle Body or TPS, I did both. I don't have a Tech I to reset the EBCM, so I'm not sure what to do yet. Oh, it snowed the next day after startup. The car is parked until at least April, so I have time. Thanks, guys for your help!!! This place is great and the people greater!

For the fuel pressure issue, I suggest following the fuel system diagnostic tree .. recently posted here if you don't have the FSM: http://www.zr1.net/forum/showpost.ph...8&postcount=43

I recently replaced my fuel pumps, and this made it very easy to diagnose a mistake I made in reassembly (not tightening the assembly hose clamps enough).

Before you too excited about the ABS lights, get the car drivable and take it for a good drive. You may find it’s just a function of sitting for a long time. Your brakes will work just fine even without the ABS system functional should that be the case.
