Default New to me 91Z #1838

Hello All,
I have finally purchased a c4 ZR-1. It's Red/Red with not quite 75000 miles. Clean Car Fax, good paint, good interior, everything works after some basic maintenance. Was all stock other than an SLP claw air box.
Car now has all new fluids, fuel injectors, spark plugs, coils, wires, fuel filter, starter, alternator.
Powder coated Top End,Cam Covers,SS bolt kit. Secondary Delete,Intake Coolant delete, Ported and Polish Intake,Injector housings.
All work done by Dempsey Anderson at Evolution Motorsport Engineering in Fredericksburg, VA.http://www.evolution-motorsport.com/
After tune, dyno said 364 rwhp. Car runs and feels great. This will be a driver/track day car that will get coilovers this spring and exhaust. I will then see if I desire more. I thought I wanted a 391 and an auto. After driving this car a few hundred miles the past 2 weeks, I'm rethinking since I'm retired and do not need to sit in DC area traffic 2.5 hours per day. Nice drives to the west and south, nice to shift in the 3500 to 6800 rpm or just cruise. Hope to see you around the campus!

Welcome to the forum. Being retired and having a ZR-1 to play with makes life easy. But don’t break anything. Enjoy the drive!

Welcome aboard. Good luck with that horsepower thing. It doesn't take long to get used to what you have and want more, then more, then more. - Steve

Welcome to the ZR-1 Community. It sounds like you have a nice ZR-1. What part of Virginia are you in?

I am in Gainesville, VA not far from Haymarket and the Manassas Battlefields.
I am adding mileage and drive times to see what might need attention to be 100% reliable. Going to see a fellow ZR-1 owner Wednesday to compare cars ; while having him drive this one for comments.
Hope to see more folks in the upcoming months.
