Are you putting them up for sale or just letting us know you have that stuff?

I believe each dealership as a condition to selling the car had a set. Anyway a few are around. Hang on to them. The other thing to look for is the press kit from 1989.

Would be nice to have them digitized. In that case, would copyright issues come into play?

These were readily available when the C4 ZR-1 was in production, but as most of you know they didn’t come with the car.

I'm not sure I agree with the statement that they were "readily" available. To get them, you had to buy them from GM's catalog of training material, which was uncommon outside of GM dealers, and you had to be willing to pay the price at which GM was selling the training video set.

There are copyright issues, especially if the "digitized" versions of those video tapes were being sold.

That said, it would be up to GM to protect its copyright.

Finally, it would not be a copyright issue for someone who possessed an original GM copy of the video tapes to sell those tapes to someone else.
