Default Is this thermostat correct?

The box says Stant 14068 which is the correct number. But thermostat itself doesn’t look like the ones I’ve always seen. Interestingly Kurt White shows this exact thermostat on his listings. I thought this might be mispackaged.

Looks odd
Does it even fit in the housing?

No that is not the correct T-stat and it is not a Stant #14068. I have found wrong T-stats & PCV valves in the right PN box, many times.

This is what a Stant 14068 thermostat looks like.

Thanks Jerry, yes, the one you show is what I have always seen. Should have just ordered from you to begin with... assuming you had one.

Thanks for the thought Hans, but we haven't had any in awhile. Stant discontinued them. I haven't taken the time yet to cover a replacement for this part.
