Default Engine Harness Variations

Considering purchase of extra engine harness. This is from a 90. Does anyone have knowledge of any significant deviations of harness build from one year to the next? If so, could you provide detail or where that can be found?

Seems to me I read somewhere the harnesses on the very early 90’s was different from the later 90’s. I believe it was only the first few hundred cars.

Hans,
The differences can’t be dramatic given the fact that any ECM can be used in any year ZR.

There should be a tag at one end of the harness. It will have the last few digits of the part number, George.

Todd,

I have an opportunity to pick up an engine harness for my car but from a different MY. Just want to check on compatability before purchasing.

In MY '90 there would have been 2 harnesses, 1 for C60 and the other for C68. A tag near the connector for C100 for C60 would be 0375 likely and C68 0376. There's an obvious visible difference where the C68 would plug into the Blower Control Module or the C60 just a conventional Blower Resistor.
