If that works proper it’s a replacement for our ecm’s ?
My car has been running with a MS3Pro (often referred to as Megasquirt) for the past 2 years. I'm happy with it.

I think the cost of the MS3Pro is around $2,000, and you gain and lose functionality. I haven't given a second thought about the missing dash functions, but I certainly understand how some ZR-1 owners would want them.

I'm surprised the ebay refurbished NOS computer hasn't been picked up yet. If I had $800 laying around I'd be tempted to buy it and sell it later for a little profit. I would have thought it's worth $1,000+ (but maybe it isn't, since it hasn't sold at $800). If someone has a ZR-1 worth $20-30K and it's not running well (or at all), and it's because their 25yo ECU is messed up, an $800 fix would be worth a lot more than $800 (imho).

I can't say exactly, but Jeff's reply sounds correct.

It seems like it was the whizzy/cool stuff, like current and average MPG. All of the basic stuff works well (fuel level, tach, trip odomenter, MPH, etc.).
