Shawn,

If you want to up your chances for a win, Join the Tulsa Vette club. Except for this year they have won the club participation award for the last 20 years. I joined the LoanStar Club because our son lives in Dallas & I want to go to their event at the Texas Motor Speedway next May.

Like I mentioned it is not a real car show but a social and political event.

I found 3 things that need repair during this week. The passenger side window switch only goes up but not down. The Brake light on the dash stays on unless I tap the peddle and the center council lock broke so I need to pull that and re do it or replace the lid.

FWIW: my dash/computer mpg readout is consistently off by 11% (low)
when compared to the old way of checking mileage
30 mph in 6th? That's gotta be good for the car...

I was talking to some very nice folks from the Lonestar Club. I have been to that show once back in 1997 or so, and it was great! I want to go back, so I may see you there.

Well...NOT to be "contrary", but you drive a ZR-1 like a Prius and get congratulated for it? Oh! IMO, that just seems SO WRONG in so many ways!

Last week I drove my 1990 around 600 miles of mostly 75 mph interstate, but some town and averaged 25.1 mpg. What is funny is a guy in an F150 that was at the same meeting I went to asked if it was hard on gas....
