Photobucket is Great!

I have no clue what 3rd party hosting is (but I can post any picture in any forum and in any size) but I like 800 and 400 width because two 400s fit nicely under one 800. And I often use Paint before I upload photos to Photobucket where I alter the photo using Paint with Notes and Arrows. The Plus 20 program costs me $2 or $3 a month which is very reasonable. I have no issues with Photobucket or my ZR-1s

Re: Suck it Photobucket!
Dynomite, if it hasn't been said lately, I want thank you for the hard work you have done and continue to do to manage the technical archives of this and the other forum. Without this valuable information at our finger tips I suspect many of us would not have chosen the ZR-1 as a hobby. Mainztaining and repairing our cars would be nightmare to all but the most competent wrenches.
Please accept my sincerest thanks! Hans

I enjoy wrenching as much as driving and appreciate the many technical contributions provided by the like minded members of both forums

AOL did this to me also. They discontinued my desktop software and said it would no longer work after a certain date unless I paid $4 or so a month. It annoyed me, as I have been a user since they began (sometime around the Civil War I think). They were good to their word--it no longer works on my computer. But before it was cut off I switched everything to Gmail. Gmail has a nifty utility that automatically transfers all your contacts and old emails, and keeps receiving AOL emails on Gmail for 30 days. Worked like a charm. I use AOL on my phone only to see if I missed anyone and to leave all the unwanted emails with AOL. I'll eventually drop that app. Maybe there is a photo service that has a similar transfer service. Personally I keep all my photos on my computer (well backed up elsewhere) and just post them when needed.--Bob
