If you have an Advance Auto Parts in your area, they have this available...
From their web site...

"Kidde Safety*FC5 Fire Control Fire Extinguisher
Part No.*4104000-A
$18.29

Suitable for use on Class B (liquids & gases) and Class C fires (energized electrical equipment). The Auto unit is fitted with a "one touch" pressure check device to ensure reliable performance. It is manufactured from lightweight aluminum and a tough nylon valve assembly. The Auto unit is supplied with a "No drill" velcro mounting bracket.

Product Features:
Clear instruction label using graphics to show steps required to operate extinguisher
Easy-to-pull safety pin
Rust- and impact-resistant nylon handle
2 lb. of fire extinguishing agent (average)
UL, US Coast Guard approved"

Yes. Over the years I've had to use an extinguisher 2 or 3 times also. Without it, the results would have been catastrophic. I was even able to help out a fellow C4 driver once.

I would say house fire on that one as well. Usually the FD won't let one burn to that extent on the road due to pavement damage...

I think this has been asked before - but do we have any reliable idea how many Z's actually exist? Knowing the actual numbers might help with value...

That Exact model saved Xfire's (Dominic's) 1984 from going up in flames..

I need to get a new one for my car

Shocker. Probably VATS... I'd try cleaning the chip in the ignition key first. It could be something as simple as that.

Might be the battery, it looks a little burnt up.

Fire Extinguisher update....forget about Advance Auto....the one they show on their web site with the Velcro attachments are not the ones they have in the stores, at least not in my area. Also the one I had purchased there, the safety tab did not spring back into position for the safety test. So back it went. Drove over to HD and found the same size unit also by Kidde, but a different style as shown in the pic. Has a needle to let you know if it is full, and ready to go. Think I will attach some Velcro myself for a neat install. Price was the same, so for $21 and change, (tax included) you are protected.
