Yes, finally getting there with the paint since purchased in '14. I have to admit that I have been getting a lot of positive responses from people lately on the paint condition. As I have mentioned in the past, it is nowhere a show quality paint, but that is fine by me. It has the marks and slight scratches from all of its years existence and is proud of it.
My biggest concern was to eliminate as many swirls and scratches possible from over the years. I think I am there now, as they are only minor. Now it is just a pure enjoyment to maintain what has been done. I think over the years I have learned to accept a more satisfying paint condition then when I was younger......not as anal as I once was......lol I actually polished and waxed off the paint on my first car (66 2-door Impala), lol...., of course being lacquer paint back then, it was very easy to do....and that resulted in a complete paint job....those were the days......lol
Also happy everyone is enjoying the show pics.....hmmmm, now if I could only get this one, and that one, and...lol
