Lgaff good for you. I figure something was going on with those trap lights, when my Z picked up 30 MPH on the top half of the track. I don't understand the ET's seem to be ok but the MPH was nuts. Dom, go to Union Grove,US41 or Route 66 if you go again. My Union Grove and US41 time slips look the same. Pete

Re: Byron Drags October 20th
How many aluminum cans would I have to save to get $6K to port the heads? Because thats the only way I could do and not have my wife find out.
Running low on mods to do, will open up the IH/Intake this winter. Good tune is also in order. Al and Pete thanks for the help today. LGAFF 92 ZR1 #234 |

Yeah. I ran the right lane on last run. My 1/8 mph was 4mph SLOWER than the left side. I picked up 28mph between the 1/8 and 1/4 trap. Let me know if you're going to the Grove. I've run 66 and that is one nice track. I want to try coming out harder than I did today. But I'm disappointed in the trap speed being the same as before I put headers on. I was expecting at least a couple of mph pickup. Maybe I need to check injectors. |

Pete,
The silver C6 Z06 broke, I saw them pushing it around after the last round of runs, I would assume the trans went. Lots of Cobras breaking u-joints yesterday also. LGAFF 92 ZR1 #234 |

Re: Byron Drags October 20th
Wow, Lee... Looks like you found the groove. Congrats!
Had a great time guys, can't wait to do it again! and I'm in on the Dyno day too. I'm satisfied for my first time out, but I need to work on my technique. 13.1sec @ 110.5mph isn't bad but I think I can do much better. Dom, let me know if you want to go again I can use the practice. Here's a linky to a few pic's I snaped... http://home.comcast.net/~hans.meyer5...n_oct_2007.htm Hans
