Thanks!

Unfortunatley, I am looking to sell my ZR1 .... I have tried for three years to find someone in Mississippi that could/would work on the beast and I have failed repeatedly. I have not been able to get the secondary induction system to kick on in over two years. Totally frustrated!!!

Rick

I'm sorry to hear that Rick, as you should be enjoying your ZR-1, especially on days like today. I imagine some fellow ZR-1 owners and forum members would be willing to help you out if they live close enough.

Try calling Aaron at SGC ( 229-226-4447) as he is generous with his time for ZR-1 owners and he might be able to help. Keep in mind that for you to get any value out of your ZR-1, you will need to fix it, so you may as well fix it for yourself regardless of whether you sel it or not.

Hello Rick and . Guess what? We`re nearly neighbors. I`m about 90 miles north of you in Iuka. I`ve got a 90 model ZR-1 #2161 and a G.M. service manual too. I`m about to start a 6 week vacation and if i can be of any help just give me a shout. I`ve had the plenum off my car three times and thankfully thats as far as i had to go. I do`nt have a lot of working on a ZR-1 experience but i`ve been building motors for over 35 years. Am currently running a 10 second 1/4 mile dragboat with a 496 chevy. Jeffvette could probably tell you more in 2 minutes than i could in a lifetime so if he comes into our neck of the woods, i`d like to be in on that meeting too. Again i say if i can be of any help, just shout. P.S. I see in your profile where you work in a powerhouse. Thats what has bought my bread, butter, Corvettes and dragboats for the last 20 years so i can at least talk on that level.

HAPPY LATE BDAY RICK--DON'T GIVE UP --THE ZRONE'ER BROTHERHOOD WILL GET YA UP AND GOING AGAIN--TAKE EM UP ON THE OFFER AND GET BACK TO ENJOYING UR KOTH AGAIN

ONE OTHER IDEA --GET A HOLD OF PETE AND ASK HIM ABOUT PULLING THE WHOLE SECONDARY SYSTEM OUT--NO MORE HEADACHE!!! SENT PETE A PM AND I AM SURE HE WILL TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT ---YOU CAN LOOK HIM UP ON THE ROSTER TO PM TO HIM

I KNOW HE DID IT TO HIS ZR-1 AND HE IS QUITE HAPPY WITH IT!!!
