Time to replace injectors
Looks like I've milked the original injectors as long as I can. Seems one of the secondary injectors has died a quick death. I'm planning to use the Accel injectors since others seem to have good luck with them. I also plan to replace plugs and plug wires while I'm that far into it. Planning to use GM wires and plugs.
Aside from ordering o-rings for the injectors and new plenum gaskets, is there anything else I should need in the way of parts to do this job? I've looked at the procedure for R&R of the plenum. Are there any tips/tricks for the R&R of the injectors? |

Re: Time to replace injectors
Nothing exciting.
http://www.pnwzr1.net/LT5_tear_down.htm I'd recomend the NGK iridium plugs over the GM ones. Also plan on doing a little cleaning in the "V" of the block. |

Thanks for the link Jeff. The pictures are helpful. Can't wait to get this done. I really miss my secondaries.

Re: Time to replace injectors
Coils are not that expensive & they live under there also. Just a thought.

Re: Time to replace injectors
I used the Accel's (got 'em from Summit Racing) and am happy with them. You don't need other o-rings. The one that came with the new injectors are working fine. Just make sure to use the correct slot (check out this thread).
