Re: Fender badge
since I currently have the badges on the brakes for the moment.. I think I am going to remove the ZR-1 stickers off the hood
I still have not decided if/where I will put the LT5 emblems, I have one on the back of the car, but since my ZR-1 badge is black/red the sliver LT5 does not look quite right When I got the car the rear badge was black/red so i changed the 'CORVETTE' to match

Ready enough to go to the UCONN show Sunday. 2700+ cars there, but only one ZR-1! (says so on the back bumper) Talk about feeling old??? My car was older than 95% of the people there... |

Re: Fender badge
Jeff,
Looking at the way the car sits now I like the small splash logo. The logo could maybe be a very small amount larger and just a bit up and back more but that is personal preference. I like the look of your car because firstly it is different from the other cars sporting the OEM fender badge (seems like everyone rocks that look). Secondly the red really goes with the theme of your car the red calipers, the (what looks like later C4 red/black) interior, and other small touches of red throughout your black car is a good look IMHO! The Shelby wheels just top off the car. If it wasn't for holes in the rear bumper I'd say put the splash logo on to replace the OEM unit. Again it is your car and it is all in what YOU want. Its only a sticker. Another thought is remove the fender badge all together and place the splash logo on the rear of the rocker just in front of the rear tire. Not as noticeable as the hood placement but different. -Daniel |

Re: Fender badge
Jeff,
Here are a few pic of my high rise hood ( Toledo-Pro ). stripes are 3M tape (fake carbon fiber) Last year in June i installed power portal window into the high rise hood. Same hood from the under side. Hope you like them. |
