Are they available somewhere? This will be my first one, so I'm not sure what they do at these things. Still waiting to see before we make plans. Hard to understand why we can't even see a tentative schedule, even if not finalized. Some information is better than none.

I will not be able to make BG as planned. My 82 went down with a bad rear bearing, so I am in the process of replacing both T/A's which has set me back in $$$.
I already have a reservation at the Holiday Inn, and have to call and cancel. I was thinking that if anyone is interested, since no money has been paid, that the reservation can be transferred to another member who can make the trip, before I cancel. If you are interested, let me know and we can see if they will do that, otherwise I will cancel it this weekend if there isn't any response. Was really looking forward to going, but there is always next time!!!

Looks like another trip from Miami for me! Can't wait! I look forward to meeting a bunch of fellow ZR-1 enthusiasts.

After contemplating going to The Gathering to do the new track, I am canceling after seeing this joke of a track day. This is nothing what was promised, which is a true HPDE event. Any chance we can have a true track event instead of parade lapping? Last edited by Blue Flame Restorations; 03-17-2015 at 07:55 PM. Reason: Edited for content by Brett Henderson |

I have rooms booked at the three recommended locations (Fontana Village (Fontana Dam, 10-12 May), Country Inn and Suites (Alcoa, 12-13 May), and Holiday Inn University Plaza (BG, 13-17 May)) for the duration of MR3 and the Gathering, but would like to cut down on the cost.
If anyone's interested in cutting their hotel costs in half ($470 instead of $940 for the seven nights), let me know and we can share the rooms. All rooms are non-smoking, with separate beds. Scott |

Post #142 sounded a lot better than 2-3 1:40+ second runs.
http://zr1.net/forum/showpost.php?p=...&postcount=142 On the bright side, I certainly don't need to do all of the track prep I was planning ... |
