AMO 10-40 idle should be set at 950 on the 441.
The 415 used AMO 20-50 , it was a very poorly built 415.

I am not sure exactly what Geoff was referring to....and I did not want to press. I am wondering if maybe lower idle with lower pressure might have starved the cams of enough oil? But not 100% sure...I have never seen an LT-5 with "low" oil pressure as you would see on a LT-1 or standard small block . As he states its not an issue with chilled cast

jeal had a bad batch of cams, late cams, which killed things. His early cams were awesome
