I got mine from Exclers I believe. They curve up at the corner and really aren't that noticeable. I don't drive in the rain but if they'll keep rocks and other crap from being thrown up on the rockets than they are worth it! I'll try to snap a pic tomorrow and post it for you.

I have the black plastic molded flairs and they look tasteful and keep the rocks off the paint
the stickier and wider the tire the worse this gets my pilot cups when new picked up half the street as do the hoosiers! |

Yes, I'm aware of the clear plastic tape you're supposed to place on the paint to isolate the plastic guard from the paint. However, dust collects inside and naturally gets down uder the edges of the guard and in short order has "burned" through the protective plastic tape and into the paint. ![]() 3M makes a clear paint shield intended for protecting the paint on the rockers aft of the wheels. I've not tried it, but that seems to me to be the better approach. (We kid (a little) about not driving in the rain as Corvettes will melt. Well, they might not melt, but I'm just as adamant when it comes to NOT driving on gravel! ![]() |

I had splash guards on HIL KING for a while--can't remember if I eventually removed them. I have never had them on WAPR TEN. I think they probably help with nicks and tar especially on the rear quarters. --Bob
