Default Hydraulic flaring tool for fittings

Bought one of these to make fittings for plenum.....will see how they work

Looks like a neat tool..... and I like good tools. I will want to see pictures of the aluminum tube plenum connectors.

That thing is sweet. The next time I need to repair or make a hard line, I will by a quality hand-cranked tool, but that thing would make quick work of it and maybe flare the cleanest.

Lee...that is a very nice TOOL and like Jerry said...We LIKE TOOLS

I especially like the Push Connect flare I think for the Plenum Fittings.
Let us know Fittings Sizes you use and what type of Tubing?

Oh! I didn't even notice that... This type of tool will go onto the wish list that I won't likely follow through on- like really high end tap and die sets and the like...

Well the hydraulic part of the tool turned out to be bad; I bought it used....but I was still able to make a few test runs on scrap aluminum tubing I had:

The quality was relative to how even the face of the tube was and the straightness....also you can vary the degree of the flare a lot

That is the infamous Push Connect Flare used on the Plenum Fittings

Excellent Job Lee

If those fittings are the correct diameter, one can just use Red Loctite and push them into the Plenum where required if a fitting has become dislodged and lost or broken.
