When you remove the left and right front crossmember rear
braces (diagonal braces) including unbolting the motor mounts from them for oil pan fastener access, does the motor need to be supported? The FSM does not clearly address this and it's not obvious by looking. Other than this, it looks pretty straight forward. . Any tips and tricks? Thanks! |

hardest part is getting to those tiny bolts up front on the pan
I used a long 1/4 extension with a swivel and was able to get it done mine was leak free and now is seeping a bit again time do reapeat take the time to clean up the threads with brake cleaner and use some mild locktite on the bolts it will help! |

Done!
No leaky (yet,..) The hardest part was screwing with the tubing that drains the area under the plenum and ends behind the plate you remove at the bottom of the bell housing. Holding it out of the way when reinstalling the pan was a pain. Solved the problem by cutting an inch and a half off it. And before you say it, it does not now hit that flywheel or anything else.
