IMHO, too much wheel, not enough tire. I don't think C4 ZR-1's look good with big wheels, any more than vintage hot rods do. Even the stock seventeens don't show enough tire for my old school taste.
Although the black Z above looks as good as one ever will with "rubber band" tires.

Agreed, plus a car can be too low.
