Hot air from [near] pedal with A/C off...
What's the default position of the temp blend door, with A/C off?
I did about 60 miles yesterday, and on the highway, I could feel heat coming from under the dash, with the air off. Does the temp blend door have a default position? Or does it stay where it last was? I remembered afterward that I had heat max'ed while idling in the carport, checking for exhaust leaks.

Re: Hot air from [near] pedal with A/C off...
Possibly lost A/C logic. Try disconnecting Neg. Bat. for a minute or so , reconnect & test functions of control head.
If it doesn't reset go into the diag. mode by pressing & holding fan up & down at the same time for 5 sec. - 00- then push Auto Fan . The LCD will show any codes . 00 -no fault 01 or 02 Temp door motor circiut other fault codes provided if you need. Suspect the neg. bat. reset will solve this. |
