You could write this story with a "fill in the blank" format so all of us could post it. How many 10min jobs turn into multi-day "goddamit should have left it alone"
stuff?

Dropped one of the screws that hold the map sensor once, no idea where it went. Dropped one of the screws that holds the fuel pumps to the rear deck, took 20 minutes to find it

When I did the headlight gears this past weekend, undoing the RS unit, doesn't the lower left flanged nut drop into the twilight zone at the bottom of the air assembly, of course it does....... go figure......still haven't located it. When I went to HD to get a replacement torx screw, also picked some flanged nuts. All is good.
In my younger days when I had my first '74 (Coupe) I also would wash before work and had a bet with my brother who had a 63 SWC who would put on the most coats of Liquid Glass in one month. Of course I did and did it after work..
Am I crazy???? Just as crazy as you are and all of the other members here and enjoying every minute of it......
