Default Awarded "Best Engine" at car show...

Took the Z to a local charity car show, and it got a lot of attention and lots of questions from folks. And, it won the "best engine" prize.

I overheard one of the judges tell another judge (possibly his wife), that the LT5 must have been a transplant from another car, as he scribbled on his score sheet.

Ah, well... I would have thought the new paint and immaculate (new) interior would have counted for something, but I guess not. LOL.

Congratulations! Always amazes me the number of "car people" that are unaware of the LT5.

Very true. And, at one of the really big charity shows, where there is as many as 1000 cars (the monthly Morris, IL showa) it is the young ricer guns that will take notice and pictures and ask questions, if nobody else. Who woulda thunk that??

LOL.
Happen alot even some Corvette owners ask how did you get that motor? what did it come out of? was it hard to fit in the C4? or why did you put C6 ZR-1 emblems on it?
